Big Bang dominants year 2008.

Big Bang’s 2nd official album ‘Remember’ is #1 on both online and offline charts like Melon, Bugs and Mnet in just 4 days into its released. This is just 2 months since their last promotion for 3rd minialbum ‘Haru Haru’.

Of this year, Big Bang’s ‘Last Greeting’ and ‘Haru Haru’ was ranked #1 3 times on offline charts. YG Entertainment said, “Recently, online sales are stronger than that of offline sales. But from Big Bang’s 1st official album to their current 2nd album, they have been doing strong both for offline and online sales. This is because the boys have worked hard to make music that are different from the others.”

 

Not only this, Big Bang has broken the record for record sales of 430,000 copies this year as the best selling artiste for the year. This record sales is the tabulated results for until the month of November, hence we are looking into even more records sales, possibly 500,000 copies, since it is less than a week since the release of their 2nd album.

YG Entertainment also said, “Since their debut 2 years back, they have achieved a total of 1,000,000 record sales altogether. We also have to consider that when they debuted, it was at a point where Korean record sales market was at one of its worst times.”
