TOP of the Popular group Big Bang was rushed to the hospital earlier this morning. There are claims that TOP blacked out and was immediately sent to the hospital. When the doctor checked him out, he concluded the reason for the black out was due to stress and fatigue. There were some false rumors and claims that TOP was suicidal and overdosed on drugs but those rumors were quickly put down by YG Entertainment…

Big Bang member TOP (21) was admitted to Seoul HeukSeokDong Central Hospital on 5th November at 1pm in the afternoon.
It was said that it was due to overwork and exhaustion and TOP has been told to rest in the hospital.
5th November is also the day that Big Bang releases their 2nd official album ‘Remember’, they have been busy practising with the preparation for their comeback right after their Japanese concert performances throughout the whole of October.
A representative from YG Entertainment said at the hospital, “The situation is not very serious, hence their comeback performance on the 8th will still take place.”
Some said it was due to suicidal thoughts..
There has been a lot of wondering by fans on TOP’s elder sister Choi Hye Yoon’s minihompy if Big Bang TOP’s admission into the hospital on 5th November was due to suicidal thoughts.
Media has also speculated about this possibility since it was discovered that TOP has taken a month’s worth of medicine on 5th November in his Seoul MaPoGoo HapJungDong home. And frantic fans have went on to TOP’s sister’s minihompy asking if TOP’s ’suicidal thoughts’ were true.
What YG Entertainment has to say…
A representative of YG Entertainment said, “TOP was already down with flu on 5th November, and he was working overnight until 4am in the morning doing recording. Furthermore on his birthday on the 4th, he went out drinking even though he usually cannot hold his liquor well. And after all this, he went home after after feeling fatigue and took medicine. His body couldn’t take the stress as he didn’t have the time to sleep and rest enough, and was admitted into the hospital.”

The fact that YG Entertainment released news of Idol group Big Bang member, TOP being hospitalized on November 5th at the Seoul Heuk Seok Dong University Hospital, but didn’t seem to bother to make an appearance at the hospital has become a cause for suspicion.
Communication stopped after Big Bang’s TOP was allegedly hospitalized, only until ‘groundless suicidal’ rumors grew did a they act post-haste and a hospital spokesperson ultimately appeared.
YG Entertainment is close to it’s YG entertainers and when there was a health problem, his personally packed items were sent to the hospital where a professor appeared at the hospital, explained the situation and left. “TOP was in a conscious and confused state when he came to the hospital on the 5th at 12:30PM,” and “Judgment of the dose of medicine is currently difficult. And he’s currently sleeping in the hospital room” said the Professor. But about the strange rumors, the professor replied TOP “Can’t know.”
YG Entertainment will hold a briefing at 10PM where they will try to remedy the current situation.

YG Entertainment Denies T.O.P. Suicide Rumors
Big Bang member T.O.P. was admitted to hospital yesterday afternoon at 1pm amidst fierce speculation of a failed suicide attempt. YG Entertainment moved quickly and released a statement saying that T.O.P. was admitted to hospital because of fatique and denied that he had commmited suicide.
T.O.P. Suicide Rumors Unfounded
In a phone conversation with a Newsen reporter, a YG Entertainment representative explained, “T.O.P. was hospitalized due to fatique and exhaustion from preparing the new album and the concerts in Japan.”
After practise on the night of 4th, T.O.P. drank a few cups at his own birthday party. He then took some medicine for his flu which seem to have a side-effect and became a problem. On the 5th, his manager went to look for T.O.P. but with exhaustion setting in and serious flu, YG Entertainment decided to let T.O.P. recuperate instead. They are shocked at the T.O.P. suicide reports
T.O.P. himself expressed, “It was just an accumulation of fatique due to album preparation and having a few drink at my birthday party. I was not attempting suicide. And I have no reason to do so.” T.O.P. was admitted to Heuk Seok Dong University Hospital and in the intensive care ward.
Hospital authorities have also confirmed it was due to fatique. But media reports in the aftermath which suggest that T.O.P. had commited suicide left fans feeling edgy. This was a horrible news to take in so suddenly especially after their new album news and T.O.P. celebrating his birthday.
Big Bang second Korean album Remember title track Sunset Glow MV was released yesterday and already ranked highly on various music charts. Their album preorders has already reached 200,000. Regardless, Big Bang will still make their comeback this Saturday, 8th November on Music Core.
T.O.P. if you remember, has a history of fatique due to overwork and landing in hospital so this may be just overreaction by the media. Some might also say this is a publicity gimmick given it’s so close to their comeback date.
